Warm-Up 2: 12 Principles of Design
In this project, I wanted to make this postcard old and muted, softened with age. A faded, sepia-toned image of the basketball court dominating the front, capturing a scene familiar and nostalgic to me. This singular image postcard is photographic dominant, with scripted lettering as a secondary and bold san serif font as primary copy. This image reminds me of home, as this is a park nearby my house and I play on this court. The words repeated is “Greetings from, San Lorenzo Park, California”. I wanted the mood to be old and the park being old, seasoned by laughter, scraped knees, and echoes of childhood joy. and played on.
